OUR VISION
To empower parents and caregivers and give them the tools to help their loved ones be the best they can be.
I know what it takes to care for a child with special needs , especially as that child becomes an adult. My son, Jason, who is now 21 years old has AUTISM. I work hard to give my son every opportunity to have as normal life as possible, and it hasn't been easy.
Over the years I have learned a lot about what is and isn't available and how to deal with schools, neighbors and family. I used my experience to create THE ANSWER INC. to assist special needs families through Advocacy, Education, Recreation, and Support. · SUPPORT - Monthly support groups that host guest facillitators, offer needed resources, and provide opportunities for discussion and support. · RECREATION - Family outings and Peer Dances that provide educational opportunities, teach and practice acceptable public behaviors and socialization skills. · EDUCATION - Training opportunities for parents, caregivers, educators and professionals. · ADVOCACY - Advocacy on Special Education, Placement, Recreation, and Political Issues.
